If you would like to find out if your doctor is facing any type of board action you can search for them in this directory.
The Maryland Board of Physicians has a search tool where you can find information about anyone who holds a medical license in the state.
If you visit the Physician Profile System you can type in the name of your doctor. The tool will give you basic information about your doctor.
You will be able to find out when their Maryland medical license was issued, where they practice, as well as where they got their medical training or education.
The medical profiles also detail the medical specialty and any disciplinary actions within the past 10 years. If there is nothing listed, then your doctor has not faced any disciplinary actions in that time period.
