BALTIMORE -

You've heard her story, but until now you've never heard her name.

One Baltimore woman's death prompted a state investigation and forced the closure of a Timonium med spa.

Thursday night at 11 we’ll have an ABC2 news exclusive-- the family of the victim who died after getting an invasive infection at Monarch Med Spa talks about her life and their cause.

The family is talking, in hopes of trying to close a medical loophole. That lets Medspas and cosmetic surgery centers in Maryland operate with no state oversight.

Thursday at 11 you'll see the entire exclusive interview and our investigation into the loophole that's could impact the safety of the places you go under the knife.
