ANNAPOLIS, Md. - An Anne Arundel County judge gave the maximum sentence to Annapolis paver Tommy Clack today.
Clack was sentenced to two years, five months behind bars for acting as a contractor without a license and selling home improvements without a license. That was the maximum sentence allowed.
The judge called Clack a "shameless swindler" and "a pathological liar."
Five of the months were suspended, so Clack will spend the next two years in prison.
Prior to today's sentencing, Clack was in police custody on a fugitive warrant from Anne Arundel County and has spent the last 45 days in prison. Immediately after his sentencing he was transferred back to prison.
Clack's paving scheme was first exposed by ABC2 Investigators last year. Since then, warrants for his arrest have been issued in others states.
