The lawyers say the proof is in the My Space pictures.
Underage Candy Baldwin drinking a beer.
Underage Candy Baldwin hitting a beer bong.
Underage candy Baldwin holding a bottle of rum while behind the wheel of a car.
Each picture has her bragging about how much she drinks and how much she liked to do so.
'It's disgusting in all candor, in the manner in which she explains her excessive use of alcohol.' Attorney Keith Franz told reporters in Centreville this morning.
Attorney say it was the attitude in those pictures coupled with a fake ID that led to the events in these.
Baldwin's crushed car.....and John Short Sr's tractor trailer in the bay....where he drowned in his submerged cab.
Baldwin's blood alcohol level was checked more than six hours after the crash and she was not legally drunk...and she has never been charged with drunk driving.
The suit says by falling asleep at the wheel... her negligence caused Short's death and left his widow Connie and family to pick up the pieces.
'It is a pain that does not go away it is in consolable it reaches depths that people don't know exist within their souls.' Franz says.
There was no one at Baldwin's home in Millington this afternoon.
Her attorney Steve Allen had no comment on the case because he hadn't seen the papers yet.
He would say that Baldwin has also been torn apart by this.
'The Short family has been in Candy Baldwin's prayers and thoughts this has been a life changing experience for her not a day goes by that she doesn’t think about what happened.' Allen says.
Short's family is asking for seven million dollars in damages.
Franz says they have also notified the state that they may also file an additional negligence suit.
They say problems with the bridge barriers also contributed to short's death.
