The Trans-Siberian Orchestra is backing the cause of the Dawson Safe Haven Center in Baltimore.
To show its support, the orchestra, its donating $10,000 and 10 iBooks to the center. The Orchestra will make the contribution today during its tour of the building. The Dawson Safe Haven Center is an after school program for Baltimore City children. It stands where the Dawson family used to live.
The family's home was set ablaze seven years ago. All seven family members died in the fire.
