A Connecticut woman who was mauled by a chimpanzee last year is currently undergoing an evaluation to determine whether she could be a face and hand transplant candidate.

Charla Nash was attacked by a 200-pound pet chimpanzee in February 2009 after the pet's owner asked Nash to help her lure it back into her Stamford home.

The animal ripped off Nash's hands, nose, lips, and eyelids.

Nash moved last week from the Cleveland Clinic to a Boston-area assisted living center where she plans to continue rehabilitation.

She is set to undergo evaluation at a Harvard Medical School-affiliated hospital for the next couple of days.

Nash's family is trying to keep her exact location private.
