Katie lets us peek at her new set

We're less than a month away from debuting a new show staring Katie Couric, but first, Katie gave us a sneak peek at her new set.

Katie and her Director, Joe Terry, showed us around the set.

"The original design had the cameras in the camera well, which is traditional for a lot os shows," said Joe. "What I found was that the elevation wasn't that severe and so the cameras actually in the back bring the audience forward and put the cameras in the back would work just as well."

Katie thinks that "is very close, you can see all sorts of things, Tony, so it's really nice because I feel like I'm talking to folks and I feel like there is obvious connection with the audience."

On the set there are all sorts of things, from the different social media outlets and the capability to Skype people in.

What about the lights?

"This basically is to give a different feel. When there are live performances we want it to feel a little like a disco, a little clubby," said Katie.

Katie is so excited to bring this show to you, starting September 10 at 4:00 p.m.
