From the time they're born, babies are listening and learning.
A baby learns a lot from anything read out loud, whether it's a book or a newspaper.
According to the American Academy of Pediatrics, 35% of children in the U.S. start kindergarten without proper language skills.
Just 20 minutes of reading to your child every day will help teach the fundamental building blocks of reading and writing.
