If different diet plans have you going in circles chasing the proper portions of fats, proteins, and carbohydrates you're better off just sticking to your diet straight down the line.
Researchers assigned several hundred overweight people to one of four diets. Each had different portions of proteins, fats, and carbs. All were meant to cut 750 calories per day.
After six months, they lost more than nine pounds of fat. But there were *no* differences in weight loss among the four diets. The key was *sticking* to the plan you were on.
