Sometimes sudden breakouts and rashes can stop even the healthiest of skin from looking good. In people of color, it's even tougher.
That's because skin irritations can mean more than just a few pimples. Charan Banks suffers from hyper-pig-mentation which is the darkening of an area of skin or nails caused by increased Melanin in the skin.
It can be caused by sun damage or other skin injuries, including those related to acne. People with darker skin such as Asian, Mediterranean or African skin tones are more prone to the condition.
The best way to take care of darker skin? Always use a sun screen. People with darker complexions can still get skin cancer.
You can also use lasers and peels that are designed to protect darker skin. But look for a licensed dermatologist when having these procedures done. A gentle cleanser and moisturizer are essential.

How would you like to get an IV just to make you feel better?
It's a new wellness concept that's gaining popularity.
