A new study finds just 20 minutes of exercise a day can help reduce a child's risk of Type 2 diabetes.
Researchers grouped overweight and obese children into three categories. There was a 40 minute exercise group, a 20 minute exercise group, and a control group.
Both the 20 and 40 minute groups showed reduced insulin resistance and improved fitness.
The findings suggest a mere 20 minutes of exercise a day can lead to significant health improvements.
