Diet sodas are an option for those who crave the taste but don't want to pack on the calories. Now there is a new line of Pepsi products hitting the market in Japan that claims to block fat.
"Pepsi Special" contains dextrin, a fiber that distributor Suntory says reduces fat levels in the body, according to an ABC News article.
The company has put an ad on its website trying to appeal to health-conscious men. It shows a guy trying to choose between a woman dressed as a pizza and a woman dressed as a burger. The underlying message -- if you drink Pepsi Special you don't have to make a choice.
This isn't the first time Pepsi-Japan has tried unique flavors. ABC News reports it has also infused the drink with flavors of strawberry and milk, salty watermelon and yogurt.
