WASHINGTON - K. Heeps Inc. of Allentown, Pa. is pulling 5,500 pounds of pureed pork from the shelves because it may contain foreign materials.
Specifically it concerns “Puree Shaped Meats Country Style Pork and Binder Product.”
Some people said they found metal fragments in the meat.
The product was shipped to 12 states including Maryland. There have been no reports of injuries.
