Fewer teens are becoming moms according to a new study by the Guttmacher Institute.
The teen pregnancy rate has dropped to its lowest level in nearly 40 years.
The researchers from the institute found about 6.7% of teens 15 to 19-years-of-age, became pregnant in 2008.
The study also includes information about different groups and pregnancy.
The report showed there are big differences between birth and abortion rates across racial and ethnic groups.
The researchers say pregnancy rates were higher for black and Hispanic teens.
