New flu shot approved

WASHINGTON -
Flu season is right around the corner, and the FDA has approved a new vaccine for the upcoming season.
Health experts study global patterns to predict which strains of flu are most likely to infect people.
One flu strain is the same as last year, and there are two new strains.
Each year, 5% to 20% of people in the US develop influence. More than 200,000 are hospitalized.
Doctors recommend everyone 6 months and older receive an annual flu shots.
