Thousands of firefighters from around the country will be in Baltimore for the annual Firehouse Expo Convention.

The convention starts Thursday and ends Saturday at the Baltimore Convention Center.

This year, there will be several tributes to the fallen firefighters from the September 11th attacks.

Almost 10 years ago, hundreds of firefighters were killed when they responded to the World Trade Center.

On Thursday, firefighters will climb 110 flights of stairs, the same number as the WTC Towers while wearing full turnout gear and carrying the photograph of a firefighter killed in the 9/11 attacks.

The memorial stair climb will happen at 2 p.m. at the Hilton in Baltimore.
