A newly released study may give new moms even more reason to breastfeed.
 

The report in the Pediatrics Journal says that babies who are breastfed are 60% less likely to die from sudden infant death syndrome.

That's compared to infants who received no breast milk.

The study shows the risk of SIDS in babies who only had breast milk and no formula is 73 percent lower.

Researchers can't explain the link exactly. They say it may have to do with the antibodies babies get from their mothers' milk.
