PERRY HALL, Md - U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan will meet with and discuss the future of teaching and the teaching profession with nearly 850 Baltimore County Public Schools' language arts teachers during a special visit to Perry Hall High School.
Dr. S. Dallas Dance, Baltimore County Public Schools Superintendent and Maryland State Superintendent Dr. Lillian M. Lowery will kick off a day of professional development and group workshops among the teachers with Secretary Duncan.
Many of the teachers will meet with Teacher Ambassador Fellows from the U.S. Department of Education. They will lead group discussions about the U.S. Department of Education's RESPECT Project.
