COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The University of Maryland, College Park is joining other universities to offer free courses online. The courses will be available starting in the spring.
The university is the most recent to offer classes at no charge through courser, an online platform that aims to expand access to education.
Other schools offering classes include Harvard, Stanford, and Johns Hopkins.
