BALTIMORE - Baltimore County Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Dallas Dance was joined by Baltimore County and state dignitaries as they cut the ribbon signifying the completion of a renovation and addition project at Milford Mill Academy Monday.
Dr. Dance and Principal Roderick W. Harden, Sr led the ribbon-cutting celebration, which included student performances and tours of the renovated areas of the building.
The project includes a new 4,800 foot addition including a new gymnasium and renovations to the school's cosmetology lab, carpentry and other technology labs, media center, auditorium, black box theater and general purpose classrooms.
In addition, the existing building was reconstructed with new heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, technology and other improvements.
New classrooms and storage areas have been added to improve the school's capacity and comfort and to extend life of the school.
