PERRY HALL, Md. - She is the artist known for expressing herself and being happy in her own skin.
"Born This Way,” a chart topper and a hit for 17-year-old Daniel Borowy, the Perry Hall student who was shot in the back inside his school.
Friends say Daniel lived the lyrics, as a young man with Downs Syndrome. He is always happy and giving high five to other students. His story attracted the time and energy of a stranger.
From her home in Owings Mills, Jamie Holt noticed a status update about Daniel's love for Gaga. She reached out to a family friend who created a page seeking prayers, asked if she could help and 24 hours later there were over 15,000 likes for the Facebook page " Lady Gaga Please Visit Daniel .”
Holt stays in touch with the family friend.
"He has a suitcase that he keeps packed to go to California because one day he wants to marry Lady Gaga," said Holt.
But there's a plea for Gaga to pack her bags and visit Daniel. He doesn't have one favorite song. He likes all of them. So maybe, just maybe, the power of social media will attract the woman who is known for a heart as big as her hair, her makeup and her clothes.

"If this is something that can help heal that, I hope that I can help," said Holt.
