WESTMINSTER, Md. - Eighth grade students at East Middle School in Carroll County are participating in a Penny Drive to help Neighbors in Need. The homerooms are competing against each other to see who can raise the most money.
The drive will continue through Friday. Students collected $500 in the first two days. The money will be used to buy gifts for those in need this Holiday Season.
The Homeroom that wins the competition will receive a Pizza party.
