BALTIMORE - Instead of a traditional classroom setting, the Montessori Schools uses group learning, teamwork, and a hands-on educational approach.

Kids in a Montessori class are grouped into age ranges. For example, kids in the primary program are ages 3, 4, 5, and 6 and kids at montessori schools work at their own pace.

And with lots of group learning, if a student is doing really well in reading but struggling a little bit with math, they can team up with a student who does well in math.

The Montessori School is located just off Falls Road and the beltway and has classes for toddlers through middle school. Tuition ranges from around $7000 for toddlers to around $15,000 at the middle school level.
