BALTIMORE - Two Special Olympics Maryland athletes, Jill Durbin and Jake Reynolds are scheduled to arrive home in Maryland on Friday at BWI Thurgood Marshall International Airport.
Since the end of January, these two athletes have been in the Republic of Korea for the 2013 Special Olympics World Winter Games and were members of Team USA.
Team USA included over 100 Special Olympics athletes who participate in a Special Olympics program in the U.S. and another 100 individuals, including coaches and staff for a delegation of 212 members. Over 100 delegations from around the world participated in the he 2013 World Winter Games and Team USA was the second largest delegation present.
Reynolds finished 1st place in an intermediate alpine skier competition.
