Washington, DC - The Heritage Foundation will hold a special event in celebration of National School Choice Week 2013. The event, Free to Choose: A Conservation about Educational Opportunity with Artur Davis, will be held on Monday at 1pm.
The event will shine a spotlight on the need to expand access to educational options for children.
By participating in National School Choice Week 2013, The Heritage Foundation joins hundreds of organizations, thousands of groups and millions of Americans in raising awareness about the need to empower parents with the ability to choose the best educational environments for their children.
These options include high performing public schools, public charter schools, magnet schools, private schools, online learning and homeschooling.
The event will be held at The Heritage Foundation on Massachusetts Avenue in Northeast Washington, DC.
