Healthy Howard Partnership to enhance wellness for Howard County students and staff

ELLICOTT CITY, Md. - A new partnership linking Healthy Howard, Inc. with the Howard County Public School System will focus on creating an environment of health and wellness. It engages the entire school community.
Healthy Howard will offer a Healthy Schools accreditation program to recognize schools that demonstrate a commitment to improving the health and well-being of their school community. The organization will provide resources to help schools create a culture that fosters healthy eating and physical activity.
Healthy Howard will also provide worksite wellness related newsletters, resources and technical assistance.
The official signing of the formal agreement will take place on Tuesday.
