Harris Teeter announces $1.6 million in donations to schools

CHARLOTTE, NC - Harris Teeter Together in Education donated $634,450 to schools during the third and final distribution of the 2011-2012 school year.
This most recent donation raises the total donation for the school year to just over $1.65 million and the program total to $17,838,575 since 1998.
The Harris Teeter program is available August - May of every year. Dozens of schools in North Carolina and Virginia received money from the program.
