Four Baltimore County Public School students win Minds in Motion scholarships

TOWSON, Md. - Four of the 13 Maryland recipients of 2012 Minds in Motion Scholarships are 2012 graduates of Baltimore County Public Schools.  The scholarships are provided by The Allstate Foundation.

Evan Anderson and Zachary Beil of Hereford High School, Stephanie Honig of Pikesville High School and Emily Ruppel of Loch Raven High School each received $1,000 scholarships at a Minds in Motion luncheon.

More than 600 school athletes submitted applications for the fifth year for this competitive scholarship program.  Eligible student athletes chosen must attend Maryland Public Secondary Schools Athletic Association schools and participate in MPSSAA recognized sports.
