Clark Atlanta University President appointed to the Association of Governing Boards of Universities

ATLANTA - Clark Atlanta University President Carlton E. Brown was appointed to the Association of Governing Boards of Universities and Colleges' Council of Presidents for a three year term.  It starts October 2012.

"I am honored for this opportunity to serve the higher education community in such a strategic and visionary role.  It takes a diversity of experiences and perspectives to better serve our nation's changing higher educational needs as the American population shifts.  I am excited to serve on a team of esteemed colleagues who have made such a profound commitment to the field of education," said Brown.

Brown is representing one of only three historically black colleges and universities on the Council.
