Fells Point, Md - Many people turned out for the 3rd Annual Brothers Who Can Cook event at the Douglass-Myers Maritime Museum in Fells Point.
Celebrity and Culinary Chefs showcased their talents. Attendees enjoyed a culinary tasting extravaganza of healthy appetizers and signature chefs dishes and great Jazz entertainment.
Part of the proceeds benefit the American Diabetes Association and Recovery in Community, Inc. It's a Baltimore based organization that addresses the rehabilitation of drug substance abuse.
The chefs prepared healthy meals as part of a movement to promote a healthy quality of life for people to slow down a growing diabetes epidemic.
According to the 2011 National Diabetes Fact Sheet, more than 25 million children and adults are affected by diabetes in the United States.
ABC2 News Sherrie Johnson was the Mistress of Ceremonies for the event.
