BALTIMORE - The Catholic High School of Baltimore will hold a prayer service to celebrate Catholic Schools Week on January 31st. As part of the service, the students will participate in a dedication and blessing of the renovated Chemistry Lab and new Science Prep Room.
The funds needed for these exciting improvements were raised with a Challenge Grant from the France-Merrick Foundation.
Administrators say a new Lab was needed to address changes. Science teaching at Catholic High is growing as the technology grows. This requires more space.
Classes are now able to prepare labs in a separate space, and avoid disturbing other classes. Reconfiguring the lab also allows more work space and a more comfortable class environment.
The dedication will be held on January 31st at 10am.
