Battle of the Badges Law Enforcement Tournament raises money for youth scholarships

BALTIMORE - This weekend teams of police officers, firefighters, and other law enforcement profesionals will go head to head in a basketball tournament. It's all part of the Third Annual Battle of the Badges Law Enforcement Basketball Tournament.
The tournament started in 2000. It was started in honor of Maryland State Trooper Cpl. Edward Toatley. The tournament has collected over $9,000 in scholarships for youth in the Turner Station community in Baltimore County.
The event will be held July 27th - 29th at the Carmelo Anthony Youth Development Center at 1100 East Fayette Street in Baltimore.
