Baltimore County Superintendent accepts donations for homeless students

TOWSON, Md - Dr. S. Dallas Dance, Superintendent of Baltimore County Public Schools will accept donations on behalf of homeless students from the Chesapeake Gateway Chamber of Commerce.

The donations will be presented by two of the Chamber's Board members.  Mary Jo Slowery, Baltimore County Public Schools homeless education Title I liaison will also attend the event.

The Chesapeake Gateway Chamber of Commerce is donating $1,500 to support homeless students in Baltimore County Public Schools.  These funds were raised at a shrimp feast and bull roast held by the Chamber on June 29th.

The Chamber and the Community College of Baltimore County are also donating bookbags and school supplies.

The event will be held on Thursday at 10am at the Greenwood Campus Administration Building in Towson.
