Baltimore County Board of Education invites feedback on changing meeting location

TOWSON, Md - The Baltimore County Board of Education is requesting feedback from the community as it considers changing the location of all board meetings occurring after July 1, 2013.

Board meetings are currently held in the ESS Building on BCPS's Greenwood Campus at 6901 Charles Street in Towson.  The proposed change would relocate meetings to the Jefferson Building at 105 W. Chesapeake Avenue in Towson.

The location change would result in efficiencies as BCPS staff offices relocate to the Jefferson Building.  It's  a measure that is saving the system approximately $1.5 million.
