TOWSON, Md - Dylan Guest, a 2012 graduate of George Washington Carver Center for Arts and Technology, has been awarded the $20,000 grand prize in annual VSA/Volkswagen Group of America, Inc., Exhibition Program.

Guest and 14 other award winners will have their artwork featured in an exhibition at the Smithsonian Institution's S. Dillon Ripley Center in Washington, DC from September 2012 to January 2013.

They will be honored at an opening reception on Capitol Hill.  The exhibition, including Guest's winning entry, "Holding His Own," may also be displayed at other venues across the nation.

A Lochearn resident, Guest plans to attend the Maryland Institute College of Art.
