COLUMBIA, Md. - A boy grabbed a jogger in Howard County last week and now police are turning to the public for help.
Howard County police are asking anyone with information that could be useful to investigators to call (410) 313-STOP.
The incident was reported late over the weekend.
A woman was jogging on the Patuxent Branch Trail , parallel to Guilford Road, when a teenager ran up alongside her at about 6:20 p.m. on Aug. 15. The suspect grabbed the jogger by the arm. The jogger pulled away from the boy and ran away.
Police are describing the culprit as a white male, about 16 years old, 5-feet-5-inches tall with sandy blond hair, wearing khakis shorts, a gray T-shirt and gray Nike shoes.
The jogger was not injured.
