ELLICOTT CITY, Md. (WMAR) -- A 42-year-old man accused of secretly videotaping women in their condominium pleaded guilty today and received a sentence of 11 years.
Michael Stephen Mckenny was scheduled for a trial to begin today for a series of burglaries at a condominium occupied by two co-workers whom he secretly videotaped using a hidden camera he had placed in their home, instead, Mckenny entered a guilty plea.
After Mckenny pleaded, Judge Timothy McCrone announced the sentence of 11 years for three counts os first degree burglary, one count of placing a camera in a private residence for the purpose of conducting surreptitious observations and without prurient intent, conducting visual surveillance of another person in a private place without consent.
