ELLICOTT CITY, Md. (WMAR) -

The man wanted for the attempted murder of two people in a 2012 nail salon shooting has turned himself into police.

Howard County Police issued an arrest warrant for Tuan Minh Pham, 35, in July 2012 for the double shooting of his estranged girlfriend and her friend in an Ellicott City nail salon.

Pham turned himself in today ending the 8-month search by police. He has been charged with two counts of first and second degree attempted murder, two counts of first and second degree assault, reckless endangerment and multiple gun charges.

Police say Pham visited Lan Phan, his estranged girlfriend's, with whom he has two children, workplace at the Nail and Hair Care Spa on Richards Valley Road and saw Phuong Thanh Do, a friend of Phan's, waiting outside to pick her up from work.

Pham approached Do and the two began to fight. Police believe Pham shot Do multiple times and then pursued him as Do ran into the nail salon. Pham entered the nail salon, found Phan and shot her.

Both victims survived their wounds.

Police are still trying to figure out where Pham was for the last 8 months.
