ELLICOTT CITY, Md. - Howard County Police are on the lookout for a man connected to a double shooting at an Ellicott City nail salon Saturday night.
Tuan Minh Pham, 35, of Beltsville has been charged in an arrest warrant with several counts of attempted first and second degree murder and other charges in connection with a shooting that sent his former girlfriend and her male acquaintance to Shock Trauma in serious condition.
Police believe Pham went to the workplace of his girlfriend, Lan Phan, 34, of Silver Spring, with whom he has two children, around 7 p.m. July 14. Detectives believe as Pham approached the Nail and Hair Care Spa in the 5700 block of Richards Valley Road, he saw Phuong Thanh Do, 40, of Florida, a friend of Phan's, waiting outside to pick her up from work.
Pham confronted Do, and the two began fighting. Investigators believe Pham shot Do and then chased him into the salon where he also shot his ex-girlfriend. Phan had an active protective order against Pham at the time of the shooting.
Pham was last seen fleeing from the scene in a 1998 tan or gold 4-door Honda Accord with license plate 2AK0291. Police are offering a reward up to $2,500 for information leading to his arrest.
Anyone with information is urged to call Howard County police at 410-313-STOP.
