A Baltimore man was sentenced today for his role in a high school fight that was caught on tape and then the video went viral.
Donnell Vannison was sentenced today to 60 days in jail after he was convicted of second degree assault.
According to court documents, Vannison approached the victim at Long Reach High School wearing a ski mask. The victim stated that Vannison immediately took a swing at his face, but he quickly stepped away.
The victim then hit Vannison once causing him to fall on the ground, unconscious.
During the statement of facts part of the trial, it was pointed out that a thrown French fry had Vannison's sister two days before the assault.
The assault was all caught on cell phone video and quickly went viral.
