ELKRIDGE, Md. - Howard County police arrested an Elkridge man over the weekend for reportedly exposing himself to a woman in Elkridge and possibly Columbia, according to the daily Howard County police bulletin, posted to the department’s Facebook page .
Mario Garcia, 31, of the 7100 block of Silverleaf Oak Road, was charged with indecent exposure after a woman told police she saw a man slowly driving a tan Mazda while exposing himself to her in a parking lot on November 2.
She told police she noticed the suspect watching her before she went into a store.
The day before, a woman told police she was being followed by a car in The Mall in Columbia parking lot. The woman told police she thought the driver was looking for a space.
When she asked the the man if he was trying to park, she noticed the man—also driving a tan Mazda—was actually exposing himself as he drove past her.
Police said both cases are likely connected.
A trial has been scheduled for January 16 at 1:15 p.m.
Howard County police arrested another Elkridge man in June for exposing himself at a Royal Farms .
In fact, cases of indecent exposure kept Howard County police officers busy over the summer as detectives investigated at least four separate, but similar, cases.
