JESSUP, Md. - Ten men were arrested by Howard County police following a reverse prostitution bust Thursday in Jessup.
Police said detectives and female officers arrested the men for soliciting prostitution along the Washington Boulevard corridor in Jessup. Female officers in plain clothes worked undercover in areas targeted by citizen complaints to determine whether they would be approached and offered money for sex. Suspects who approached the female officers and made such offers were arrested.
The following men, ranging in ages from 25 to 75, were arrested and charged with solicitation of prostitution and disorderly conduct:
In addition, an undercover officer was also approached by a man, later identified as David William Randolph, 27, of Washington, D.C., who solicited her to work for him and identified himself as a pimp. He was arrested and charged with prostitution related charges along with disorderly conduct and possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He was later found to have an outstanding arrest warrant through Montgomery County for human trafficking.
