One teen is dead, and another hurt after a late night shooting in Harford County on Thursday.
According to the Harford County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to the 1600 block of Candlewood Court in Edgewood for a report of a shooting just after 10:30 p.m.
When they arrived they found two boys in their late teens shot in Cunion Recreational Park. State Police flew one to University of Maryland Shock Trauma, while medics took the other teen to Upper Chesapeake Medical Center. The second teen was pronounced dead at the hospital.
According to deputies, the teens were in the park to meet someone when they were shot.
They are not releasing the identities of the teens until family members are notified.
