Three charged in cemetery vandalisms

ABERDEEN, Md. (WMAR) - The Aberdeen Police Department has arrested one adult and two juveniles in connection with two vandalisms at a local cemetery.

Both vandalisms occurred at the Grove Presbyterian Cemetery on Bel Air Avenue where 126 headstones were overturned. The damage was estimated at a total of $20,000. Some of the headstones will require professional restorations.

Investigators charged Robert Joseph Farrington, 19 and two juveniles. The juveniles are now facing charges through the Department of Juvenile Services.

Farrington was charged with vandalism, malicious destruction of property and defacing of religious property.
