BEL AIR, Md. (WMAR) - A teen convicted of stabbing a blind man to death has been sentenced to spend the rest of his life in prison.
Donnell Graham, now 18, was convicted of stabbing 29-year-old Patrick Ward to death in his Bel Air apartment. Graham will now spend life in prison with the possibility parole for his crime.
According to charging documents, Graham had broken into Ward's apartment when Ward came in and surprised him. Those documents revealed that witnesses heard o lot of shouting and a loud argument then Ward screamed for help.
Witnesses couldn't get in the door, instead claimed into the apartment through a balcony where they saw Graham standing next to Ward who was already bleeding from his multiple stab wounds.
Graham ran, but was caught only about a block from the crime scene.
