BEL AIR, Md. (WMAR) - The trial for a Bel Air teen charged in his father's murder has been postponed until 2013.
Robert Richardson III was scheduled for a July 9 trial date, but is has been pushed back until January 7, 2013.
According to online court records the prosecuting attorney has been replaced in the case.
Richardson has been charged with first and second degree murder and the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony in connection with the death of his father in January 2012.
Richardson confessed to killing his father Robert Richardson, Jr., and leading police on a chase that ended in a crash. The body of Richardson Jr. was found in a pond in Aberdeen near the home of a relative of the family.
