Multiple charges in Harford County hit-and-run

Alcohol cited as a factor

BEL AIR, Md. - A Forest Hill woman has been charged with multiple charges, including driving under the influence, resulting from a hit-and-run accident on Monday.

State Police Bel Air barracks said they received a phone call from Jennifer Helen Brooks, 52, of Forest Hill, who told them she had been operating the striking vehicle.

Investigators interviewed Brooks and learned that she had been consuming alchohol at Jimmy's Old School Tavern at 303 Conowingo Road Street, Maryland just prior to the accident. A vehicle at the resident showed damage to the passenger side and mirror. Alcohol was determined to be a contributing factor in the collision.

Brooks faces numerous counts, including negligent driving, reckless driving and driving while impaired, among others.'
