BEL AIR, Md. (WMAR) - After one hour of deliberations a Harford County jury found Terrence Daryell Wanzer, 22, guilty of the stabbing death of Thomas Burdsall, Jr., 16.

The murder took place on January 8, 2011, at the victim's home on Edmund Street in Aberdeen. The evidence presented by Deputy State's Attorney Diana Brooks in the three-day trial was that Wazner had been at Burdsall's home along with three others, playing video games and socializing.

Burdsall and Wanzer had argued and at some point Wanzer stabbed the unarmed teenager in the heart with a knife.

Burdsall was pronounced dead at the hospital after efforts to revive him had failed.

Wanzer presented an alibi defense at trial, but the jury rejected it.

Sentencing has been scheduled for February 5 at 9:00 a.m., and Wanzer faces a maximum penalty of life in prison.
