FALLSTON, Md. - In an isolated country setting dotted with dense woods, withering sunflowers and horses wandering in the fields, Fallston residents have learned of new threats in their community.
"Assault rifles, grenade launchers and a meth lab in my neighborhood? No way," said Linda Sears as she drove past the ranch-style house on Durham Road.
When undercover narcotics investigators busted through the door of the home that’s what they say they found, and they arrested three people including 34-year old Britny White.
"I believe that the weapons that were in the house were my son's father's," said Kim Williams who was engaged to White’s brother before he died in a motorcycle accident, "I've known for years that she's been on crystal meth and I kept wondering eventually it gets caught up. For many, many years, she's lived the kind of life where she used to be stripper. She's had sugar daddies for years. It's how she provides for herself. It's how she lives the way that she does."
Investigators believe White, her boyfriend and another man living in the house were part of a distribution ring responsible for crystal meth showing up on the streets in recent months.
The re-emergence of the highly-addictive drug prompted agents to move quickly.
"A lot of times we've done these like we did four or five years ago where there were children involved. This particular case involved children too that were exposed plus the other people that lived there,” said Lt. Lee Dunbar of the Harford County Task Force, “It's highly volatile. It is explosive."
White and her live-in accomplices now face a series of drug charges, and police say their investigation is far from over.
"The number of people that she has hurt in her life---it's time that it finally ends,” said Williams, “and I'm glad it's happening, and I hope they give her everything she deserves."
A judge has set bail for all three suspects, and White and her boyfriend, 34-year old Daniel Vieraitis, have already been set free.
26-year old Joshua Miller remains behind bars charged with manufacturing meth in his bedroom closet.
