Harford County deputies discover body in Abingdon

ABINGDON, Md. -  

A body was discovered Tuesday afternoon in a wooded area in Abingdon, according to the Harford County Sheriff's Department. Deputies found the body, described as that of a young, adult African-American male, when they arrived to respond to a report about a body in the 1300 block of Harford Town Drive in Abingdon.
 
The Criminal Investigation Division responded to the scene.  During the initial processing of the scene, detectives found no obvious signs of foul play.  
 
Detectives are working to identify the subject while they await a ruling from the State Medical Examiner's Office as to the cause and manner of death.
